In the first quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Slovakia experienced diverse trends across various platforms. The following analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, highlights the performance of the top five apps.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a steady download rate with figures hovering around 5K weekly. The app saw a peak in active users at 197K in the week of March 10, before declining to 153K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride showed a modest increase in downloads, starting at 1.6K and stabilizing around 1.5K to 2.1K mid-quarter. Active users peaked at 9.4K in early February, followed by a decrease to 6.5K by the end of March.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a gradual rise in downloads, reaching 518 by the end of March. However, active users saw a decline from 8.7K to 6.5K throughout the quarter.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery exhibited fluctuating download numbers, with a high of 491 in late February. Active users climbed to 6.9K in the same period, ending the quarter slightly lower at 6.2K.

Zoberma started with a download peak of 515 in early January, followed by a dip and a rise to 772 in early March. This app did not report active user numbers.
